Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between TnnruspoRr Accrorrur nruo lructorrut lruvesrtennoru BuRenu, LATVIA and THr Snrerv lruvesrtenttoN BuRrnu, Estoruta References: EU legislation on investigating maritime, aviation and rail accidents and incidents. 1. lntrod uction This Memorandum of Understanding between Transport Accident and lncident lnvesti8ation Bureau, Latvia and the Safety lnvestigation Bureau, Estonia, hereinafter referred to as the Participants,'aims at maintaining and further strengthening the close cooperation between the Pa rticipa nts. It is mutually recognized that cooperation in safety investigations ls crucially important bilaterally and in the wider EU and other internationalcontext. 2. lntent The Participants wish to express their shared intent to continue to closely cooperate in conducting safety investigations and in related areas. The Participants intend to maintain regular communication at different levels and wish to emphasize their readiness to assist each other in any feasible way. 3. Way forward The Participants are to strive for mutual cooperation in all aspects of safety investigations and maintain close and regular contact with each other.
