Dear Members of the EHTF, We would like to bring to your attention a new publication, Governance and capacities for environment and health in the WHO European Region <https://www.who.int/europe/publications/i/item/WHO-EURO-2026-13190-52964-82575> , which has just been released. The report provides an overview of structural frameworks, evidence, and effective practices that can support countries in strengthening environment and health governance. It highlights the importance of coordinated action across sectors and levels of government, enhanced human and financial capacities, clear and strategic communication, and strong science–policy collaboration, particularly in the context of rising misinformation and the growing risks posed by climate change, pollution, and biodiversity loss.
