CWS 207 May 26, 2026 -03 Re: Workshop on WIPO Standard ST.96 _________________________________ Madam, Sir, The International Bureau of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) is pleased to invite representatives from your Office or Organization to attend the Workshop on WIPO Standard ST.96. The main objective of this Workshop is for intellectual property (IP) offices to exchange their implementation experiences of WIPO Standard ST.96 with the aim to support each other and improve the Standard. It is also hoped that this will assist the International Bureau in understanding how WIPO Standard ST.96 is implemented and whether AI tools have an application in generating structured IP data. This Workshop targets Offices which are currently implementing WIPO Standard ST.96 or intend to. The Workshop will be held online, on June 24, 2026, from 12 noon to 3 p.m. (CEST). Online invitations will only be sent to registered participants one week before the Workshop. The working language for this event will be English.
