Kind regards -- IHO Files No. S3/0104 CIRCULAR LETTER 35/2020 23 October 2020 OUTCOME OF THE 12TH MEETING OF THE INTER-REGIONAL COORDINATION COMMITTEE (IRCC12) Reference: IHO CL 30/2020 dated 31 August – 12th Meeting of the Inter‐Regional Coordination Committee (IRCC12) VTC meeting, 6-7 October 2020. Dear Hydrographer, 1. In accordance with the Reference, the 12th meeting of the IHO Inter-Regional Coordination Committee (IRCC12) took place as a VTC meeting on 6 and 7 October 2020. The meeting was chaired by Dr Parry Oei (Singapore) and attended by the Chairs or representatives of the Regional Hydrographic Commissions (RHC), subordinate bodies of the IRCC and observers. A total of 94 participants from 32 countries attended the meeting. 2. The report of IRCC12, together with the list of decisions, actions and recommendations to RHC arising from the meeting and their current status, and the IRCC work programme for 2020-2021 are now available from the IRCC section of the IHO website (https://iho.int/en/ircc12-2020). 3. At the end of the meeting, Mr Thomas Dehling (Germany) was elected as Chair and Mr John Nyberg (USA) was elected as Vice Chair of the IHO Inter-Regional Coordination Committee. Next meeting 4. The 13th meeting of IRCC (IRCC13) will be held from 22 to 24 June 2021 in Monaco. Representatives of Member States who may require a visa are advised to submit their applications well in advance. IRCC13 will be preceded by the 19th meeting of the Capacity Building Sub-Committee (CBSC19) from 14 to 16 June 2020 which will also be held in Monaco. 5.
