Dear Vice Chancellor Silberg and Dr. Viilmann,
I am happy to report that the presentation on Northeast Estonia was well received at the conference on deterrence in Europe held at the London School of Economics. The discussants also suggested that we extend the analysis to the rest of Estonia when we revise the paper for publication in Global Policy. That way we can have a larger statistical sample--and more confidence in our conclusions--since we study a small country.
Would you be willing to share the 2023 EIM data for sections 1-6, 9-12, and 15 for Estonia as a whole?

Dear Vice Chancellor Silberg and Colleagues,
Happy Tuesday! I am an Estonian-born political scientist writing a paper on Northeast Estonia for an upcoming conference at the London School of Economics, to be thereafter published in Global Policy.
In January, you kindly sent me an excerpt of data from the 2023 Estonian Integration Monitoring. The letter (attached) said that Questions 11.4 and 12.6 were excluded because of their sensitivity.
However, the SPSS file (attached) also excludes questions 12.5, 12.7, and 12.8 (war in Ukraine), which are essential for our project on non-nuclear deterrence. If possible can you send me these data?

the permanent population of the 2023 Estonian Integration Monitoring Survey (EIM 2023). The
dataset is made available in accordance with your request for the use of the data for scientific
purposes submitted on 20.12.2024, granted on 06.01.2025 (1-18/38-1) and in addition, in
accordance with the e-mail received on 29.04.2025.
