Dear President,
We have been informed that Mr Thierry Hoscheit assumed office as President of the Superior Court of Justice of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg on 1st of October 2023.
President Hoscheit joined the Luxembourg judiciary in 1990, where he was successively judge at the Luxembourg District Court and the Court of Peace. After serving as President of the Competition Council from 2004 to 2011, he returned to the judiciary to serve as President of the Chamber at the Luxembourg District Court and then at the Court of Appeal. Mr Hoscheit is the President of the Superior Court of Justice, the Court of Cassation, and the Constitutional Court.

Nous venons d’être informés de ce que M. Thierry Hoscheit a pris ses fonctions de président de la Cour supérieure de Justice du Grand-Duché du Luxembourg à partir du 1er octobre 2023.
M. le président Hoscheit est entré dans la magistrature luxembourgeoise en 1990, où il a été successivement juge au tribunal d’arrondissement de Luxembourg et juge au tribunal de paix de Luxembourg. Après avoir occupé les fonctions de président du Conseil de la concurrence de 2004 à 2011, il est retourné à la magistrature pour être président de chambre au tribunal d’arrondissement de Luxembourg, puis à la Cour d’appel. M. Hoscheit est président de la Cour supérieure de justice, de la Cour de cassation et de la Cour constitutionnelle.
