Dear Chief Justice, Mr Kõve,
I am pleased to inform you that in November 2023 the Constitutional Court of the
Republic Serbia celebrates its 60th Anniversary.
On this occasion, the Constitutional Court will hold a ceremony and organize an
International Conference on dialogue between constitutional courts and their role in the
protection and promotion of human rights and freedoms. The ceremony and the conference
will be held on 16 and 17 November 2023 in Belgrade. We are convinced that close
cooperation between constitutional courts and the exchange of opinions and experiences
contribute to strengthening the role of our institutions in maintaining common basic values,
primarily the rule of law and the protection and promotion of human rights.
I am pleased to invite you to attend the upcoming solemn marking of this important
event and the International Conference.
The Constitutional Court, in cooperation with the Council of Europe, will cover the
costs of accommodation (two nights) for your stay and the stay of one representative of your
esteemed Court in Belgrade.
The working languages of the Conference will be Serbian, English and French, with
simultaneous translation provided.
The participants are expected to arrive in Belgrade on 15 November 2023. We would
