Saatja: Dvořák Pavel <[email protected]> Teema: New President and Vice-Presidents of the Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic Dear Colleagues, It is my pleasure to inform you that on 4 August 2023 (with effect from 8 August 2023) the President of the Republic appointed Mr Josef Baxa as President of the Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic. JUDr. Josef Baxa became a Justice of the Constitutional Court on 5 June 2023. Before that, he was a Judge of the Supreme Administrative Court, of which he was also President from 2003 to 2018. The Constitutional Court has two Vice-Presidents, Mr Vojtěch Šimíček and Mrs Kateřina Ronovská. Doc. JUDr. Vojtěch Šimíček, Ph.D., has been serving as a Justice of the Constitutional Court since 12 June 2014. The President of the Republic appointed him as Vice-President on 4 May 2023. Prof. JUDr. Kateřina Ronovská, Ph.D., was appointed as a Justice and Vice-President of the Constitutional Court by the President of the Republic on 4 August 2023.
