Ms Bublienė became a member of the Supreme Court in 2017 and served since 2022 as Chairperson of the Civil Cases Division (please kindly refer to the attached biographical notice for further information). We have also been informed that after the resignation of President Carlos Lesmes Serrano in 2022, Mr Francisco Marín Castán was appointed as Acting President of the Supreme Court of Spain. Mr Marín Castán is also the President of the Civil Chamber and served as Vice-President of the Supreme Court since June 2020. Yours sincerely, Madame, Monsieur le premier président, Nous venons d’être informés de ce que Mme Danguolė Bublienė a pris ses fonctions de présidente de la Cour suprême de Lituanie le 27 mars 2023. Mme Bublienė est devenue membre de la Cour suprême en 2017 et a servi depuis 2022 en tant que présidente de la chambre civile (nous vous prions de bien vouloir consulter la notice biographique ci-jointe pour de plus amples informations). Nous venons également d’être informés de ce qu’après la démission du M. le président Carlos Lesmes Serrano en 2022, M. Francisco Marín Castán a été nommé président par intérim de la Cour suprême d’Espagne. M. Marín Castán est aussi président de la chambre civile et a occupé le poste de vice-président de la Cour suprême depuis juin 2020.
