(Regional Agreement GE06)

Dear Madam/Sir,
The Regional Agreement GE06 in its Article 4 specifies, inter-alia, the procedure for coordination of
assignments to other primary terrestrial services with the broadcasting service. Accordingly, Part A of the
above-referenced Special Section contains information communicated by the Administration of the Russian
Federation, on proposed new assignments to the List of assignments to other primary terrestrial services
contained in Annex 5 to the Agreement.
The referred Special Section, which is published pursuant to No. 4.2.2.6 b) of the Agreement, also identifies
those proposed modifications to the List with respect to which your Administration is considered as
affected.
You are invited to provide your comments to the Radiocommunication Bureau (BR) and to the
Administration proposing the modification within 75 days from the date of publication of the BR IFIC which
includes this Special Section. The date of publication is indicated in the reference above. Even in the case
where your Administration agrees with the proposed modifications, it is important to so inform BR. In the
case of no-reply within the 75-day period, provision No. 4.2.4.8 of the Agreement will apply (i.e., it will be
deemed that your Administration has not agreed to those proposed new assignments to the List of
assignments to other primary terrestrial services where your Administration was identified as an
administration considered to be affected), unless the provisions of Nos. 4.2.4.9 and 4.2.4.10 are applied.
The BR remains at your disposal for any further information and clarification.
