On the occasion of Denmark’s EU Presidency 2025, we are pleased to invite you to
Copenhagen Life Science Summit, a high-level gathering of key stakeholders from across the
European health and life science ecosystem – including policymakers, academia, public health
organisations, industry leaders and patient organisations from the EU27 and beyond. Together,
we will explore how Europe can advance its position as a leading life science region –
enhancing competitiveness and driving the development of more resilient and innovative

We hope you will join us for this high-level gathering in the historic surroundings of
Copenhagen City Hall, with participation of the Lord Mayor of Copenhagen, Lars Weiss and the
Danish Minister of the Interior and Health, Sophie Løhde.
The high-level conference day at Maersk Tower

Venue: Maersk Tower, University of Copenhagen, Blegdamsvej 3B, Copenhagen
This high-level conference day will explore how the life science sector can contribute to
Europe’s global competitiveness—through innovation, research, health solutions, investment
opportunities, and export growth. Discussions will focus on concrete initiatives on how life
science can act as a strategic driver of growth and resilience, and how strengthened public-
private collaboration can shape the future of health in Europe.

In connection with Copenhagen Life Science Summit, an official conference
during Denmark’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union, it is a
great pleasure for Healthcare Denmark to extend an official invitation to
attend the reception at the Copenhagen City Hall on October 8 and the
conference day “Life Science: A Catalyst for European Competitiveness” on
October 9.
