Dear Minister, dear Secretary of State,
On behalf of ESA Director General, we are pleased to share the Save the
Date for the upcoming inauguration of ESA’s fourth deep-space antenna in
New Norcia, Western Australia, which will take place on 4 October 2025.
This milestone event will bring together key representatives from ESA, its
Member States, Australia, industry and international partners to celebrate
a major advance in our deep-space communication capabilities.

SAVE THE DATE
The European Space Agency (ESA) will soon invite you to celebrate with us the
inauguration of ESA's fourth Deep Space Antenna
in New Norcia, Western Australia.
Delivered on schedule, this engineering masterpiece is a result of the outstanding
capabilities of ESA, Industry, and the excellent cooperation with our Australian
partners. This strategic milestone reinforces ESA’s deep-space communication
capabilities, maximising the return of our missions' most
valuable asset, scientific data.
The event will bring together leading representatives from ESA, its Member States,
Australia, international stakeholders, industry and media.

Time: 15:00–21:00 AWST
Transportation will be provided from Perth Airport to the event. Preliminary
