BTK Questionnaire on Earth Station in Motion (ESIM) Usage in 17.7-19.7 GHz.
1. Introduction
Currently new communication services are being introduced to relieve heavy data traffic that
stem from population density and the extensive usage of mobile broadband, which are expected
to be ubiquitous for upcoming years.
While these are happening, it becomes necessary to use the radio spectrum more efficiently and
to reallocate it according to the developments in new services.
As an example, 17.7-19.7 GHz frequency band have already been allocated for fixed, fixed
satellite and mobile services in Turkey. Therefore, we wish to gather information on best
practices regarding the Earth Station in Motion (ESIM) usage in 18 GHz.
In view of the above, we are kindly asking your views on the following questions. For more
