Mr. Alexander Stroganov General Radio Frequency Centre Our Ref: 21.12.2021 No 17-6/2021/2035 Building 15, 7 Derbenevskaya Embankment 117997, Moscow Ref.1: Meeting (video conference) between the Telecommunication Administration of the Russian Federation and the Telecommunication Administration of the Republic of Estonia on Coordination of Frequency Assignments to Stations in Terrestrial Services, 14-16 December 2021. Proposal to change channels in KINGISEPP and KOHTLA allotments. Dear Sirs, According to (Ref.1) Agenda item 2.5 „Discussion concerning the planning of the use of digital television channels in the frequency band 470-694 MHz“, we hereby send the Estonian administration proposal: To reduce cross-border interference by increasing the distance between interfering transmitters, we propose to change channels in allotments as following: KINGISEPP, RUS25699, BR id 117028961 from ch. E25 (506MHz) to E34 (578MHz) and KOHTLA, EST-05-02-KTL, BR id 106531678 from ch. E34 (578MHz) to E25 (506MHz) For the Russian Federation above mentioned change allows to plan usage of all E34 (578MHz) DTT allotments near the border of the Republic of Estonia. For the Republic of Estonia above mentioned change allows to review ERP limitations of the DTT Assignments of the Republic of Estonia KOERU_25, IFRB assign ID (121068980) and VALGJÄRVE_25, IFRB assign ID (121068997) and to enlarge SFN area with KOHTLA 25. We are looking forward to receiving Your comments on the proposal and highly appreciate the dialogue to enhance the efficiency of spectrum sharing. Yours sincerely, Endla 10a / 10122 Tallinn / ESTONIA Phone: +372 667 2000 / Fax: +372 667 2001 / E-mail: [email protected] / http://www.ttja.ee Erko Kulu Head of Frequency Management Division Veikko Tunnel +372 667 2123 [email protected] 2 (2)
