The exports of end of life ships is still an issue.
The International Ship Recycling Association (ISRA) has sent a letter on this subject to all the
ministers in the EU together with a letter addressed to the relevant competent authorities. A
copy of same is enclosed.
We hope that these letters will contribute ending the illegal practices of exporting end of life
ships.
Should we have omitted sending this e-mail and contents to the wrong authority/person, we
kindly request you to forward this to the correct person for further handling.
