REPURLIC OF ESTONIA MINISTRY OF SOCIAL AFFAIRS Kristina Köhler Word Health Organization Country Office in Estonia [email protected] Our ref. 05.12.2024 No 1.9-5/3113-1 Notice of Contract Termination Dear Mr David Allen Re: An agreement signed on January 17, 2018 (amended on October 2, 2024) between the World Health Organization Regional Office for Europe and the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Estonia regarding the free use of premises by the WHO at the premises of the Estonian Health Board, located at Paidiski Road 81, Tallinn, Estonia (hereinafter referred to as the Agreement). Unfortunately we must inform you that, due to guidelines issued by the Government of the Republic of Estonia for cost-saving measures, we will no longer be able to oifer you free use of the premises. We have been paying approximately €20000 annually for the rental cost of the premises you have been using. In accordance with Article 1, paragraph 4 of the Agreement, we hereby notify you of our intention to terminate the free use of the aforementioned premises, effective from April 1, 2025. As per the same paragraph, a 90-day notice period is required for termination of the Agreement. However, we have reached an agreement with the owner of the premises, Riigi Kinnisvara AS (hereinafter referred to as RKAS), and you will have the opportunity to continue using the same premises for a fee. To proceed, you would need to enter into an agreement with RKAS, who will contact you, prepare a draft agreement, and send it to you for review.
