Thank you for your email.
Mr. Andres Sooniste is not working for the organisation since 2019. The authority
TARBIJAKAITSEAMET was merged with another Government Authority - Technical Regulatory
Authority from the first of January 2019. New authority is named TARBIJAKAITSE JA TEHNILISE
JÄRELEVALVEAMET. All the primary tasks related to consumer issues remained the same as well
all the contracts and responsibilities where transposed to the merged authority. The merge did
not affect the work of European Consumer Centre of Estonia. The Director General of the
merged authority is Mr. Kaur Kajak (
