ON MODIFICATIONS TO GENEVA PLAN, 2006
In response to your published modifications to the Plan in the Special Section GE06/180 of BRIFIC
No. 2948 dated 15 June 2021 we inform that Communications Regulatory Authority of the Republic
of Lithuania (hereinafter – RRT) can agree to the following allotment as a modification to the Plan
only if a remark containing the name of our country is added:
Identifier
Unique identifier given Channel Notice
assigned by the Name Remark
by the Administration No/Frequency Block Type
BR
121068995 PARNU-22 PÄRNU 22 GT2 R2: LTU
Since the mentioned allotment has not been coordinated by our administration, we evaluated it
conforming to the common principles agreed with other administrations:
- Any modification of GE06D Plan shall normally be accepted if the cumulative interfering
field strength does not exceed the value of Emax int – 6 dB on the boundary of any existing co-
channel allotment of the other country. For Emax int the value of 46.2 dBµV/m adjusted by the
frequency correction factor 30·log (f [MHz] / 650 MHz) shall be applied.
As the interference potential of the allotment PARNU-22 exceeds the defined value on the boundary
of our allotment 12/2_SIAULIAI-22, recorded in the Ge06D Plan, the remark “R2: LTU” shall be
added in “t_remarks” field of the allotment PARNU-22, meaning that the implementation of this
allotment requires coordination with RRT.
Referring to the remaining proposed modifications to the Plan, published in the Special Section
GE06/180 of BRIFIC No. 2948 dated 15 June 2021, Communications Regulatory Authority of the
Republic of Lithuania has no objections.
Acting Deputy Director Augutis Čėsna
