Ajakohastatud strateegia fookus on ELi majanduse kui terviku konkurentsivõime vaates Euroopa Liidu ühtse turu integreerimisel, tootlikkuse kasvul, rahvusvahelisel konkurentsivõimel, avaliku ja erasektori investeeringutel ning investeeringutel teadus- ja arendustegevusse. Soovime koondada Euroopa tööstusstrateegia ajakohastamise osas Eesti seisukohad. Lingid algatustele: A Communication ‘Updating the 2020 New Industrial Strategy: Building a stronger Single Market for Europe's recovery' Annual Single Market Report 2021: https://ec.europa.eu/info/sites/default/files/swd-annual-single- market-report-2021_en.pdf Strategic dependencies and capacities Towards competitive and clean European steel Algatuste sisust: Ühtse turu vastupanuvõime tugevdamiseks on komisjon pakkunud välja:  Ühtse turu hädaolukorra instrumendi, et pakkuda struktuuriline lahendus tagamaks inimeste, kaupade ja teenuste kättesaadavus ja vaba liikumine võimalike tulevaste kriiside kontekstis.  Ühtse turu süvendamiseks soovib komisjon uurida peamiste äriteenuste standardite ühtlustamist; ning tugevdada turujärelevalve ja muude VKEde jaoks suunatud meetmete digitaliseerimist.  Ühtse turu seire osas on kavas siseturu olukorra, sh 14 tööstusökosüsteemi iga-aastane analüüs. Tourism Ecosystem ............................................................................................................. 175 EL avatud strateegilise autonoomia tugevdamiseks pakub komisjon välja:  Mitmekesised rahvusvahelised partnerlused tagamaks, et kaubandus ja investeeringud mängiksid jätkuvalt võtmerolli EL majandusliku vastupidavuse loomisel.  Tööstusliidud (alliances) võivad kiirendada tegevusi, mis muidu ei areneks, ja kui need aitavad meelitada erainvestoreid arutama uute äripartnerluste ja -mudelite üle avatult, läbipaistvalt ja kooskõlas konkurentsieeskirjadega, ning kus neil on potentsiaali suure väärtusega töökohtade loomiseks. Liidud pakuvad avatud platvormi alustavate ettevõtete ja VKEde kaasamisele. Komisjon valmistab ette protsessorite ja pooljuhttehnoloogiate liitu ning tööstus- ja pilveandmete liidu (Alliance for Industrial Data, Edge and Cloud) käivitamist ning kaalub kosmoseseadmete (Alliance on Space Launchers) ja nullemissioonidega lennunduse liidu (Alliance on Zero Emission Aviation) ettevalmistamist.  Strateegiliste sõltuvuste jälgimiseks avaldas komisjon esimese aruande, milles analüüsitakse ELi strateegilisi sõltuvusi. Aruandes määratletakse tundlikes ökosüsteemides 137 toodet, mille puhul EL sõltub oluliselt välisallikatest. Konkurentsivõimelise ja puhta Euroopa terase analüüs, milles analüüsitakse tööstuse väljakutseid ja olemasolevat ELi tööriistakasti.
