Subject: Inclusion of Estonia territory under §6.6 of Appendix 30B
Ref: UKFSS-18W-A (AP30B/A6A/355, IFIC 2787)
The administration of the United Kingdom would like to kindly and formally request the inclusion of
the territories of Estonia in the service area of the UKFSS-18W-A satellite network filing referenced
above in accordance with §6.6 of Appendix 30B of the ITU Radio Regulations. Additionally, the
operator of this satellite network hereby confirms that no transmissions to/from your territory
under the UKFSS-18W-A satellite network will take place without obtaining all the required
authorizations from your administration.
Background:
1) The United Kingdom administration has commenced operation of the UKFSS-18W-A satellite
network filing at the 18°W orbital location. The satellite deployed at the 18°W orbital
location corresponds to Intelsat-37e (IS-37e) satellite, which was launched on 29 September
2017 and includes the following Appendix 30B frequencies specified below:
10 700 - 10 950 MHz (space-to-Earth)
11 200 - 11 450 MHz (space-to-Earth)
12 750 - 13 250 MHz (Earth-to-space)
2) Examination by the Radiocommunication Bureau (BR) of the UKFSS-18W-A satellite network
filing under §6.6 of AP30B identified your administration as one whose territory is partially
or wholly included in the intended service area, and thus, in conformity with §6.6 this

administration requests the agreement of your administration to be included in the service
area of this satellite network. Such agreement is without prejudice to the outcome of
coordination between both administrations for their respective satellite networks.
We, therefore, respectfully request your agreement under §6.6 of Appendix 30B for the inclusion of
your territory in the service area of UKFSS-18W-A satellite network.
Please consider this formal request at your earliest convenience and let us know of any comments
you may have. Your consent will be greatly appreciated. Please do not hesitate to contact us should
you require any further information and/or clarifications.
