With this e-mail we invite your governement to support the nomination of a European Commissioner responsible for SE. This nomination is crucial to assure the continuity of the Social Economy Action Plan (SEAP) and the development of social economy broadly. Furthermore, we would deeply appreciate if the European Commissioner could be someone who supports sociale economy and who has a certain knowledge w in Social Economy . Lastly, we would highly appreciate if your party could approve the renewal and continuity of the Social Economy Intergroup, a body of vital importance to mainstream social economy’s perspective into the legislative and non-legislative work of the European Parliament. The action of the Social Economy Intergroup and its members has been key for the development and approval of the Social Economy Action Plan in 2021. In order to keep social economy high on the political agenda and to make sure the SEAP is being properly implemented, it is crucial to ensure that the European Parliament´s Social Economy Intergroup continues.
