Subject: DG MOVE/D looking for national experts in the area of maritime transport
Dear colleagues,
I would like to bring to your attention 2 vacancy notices for 2 national experts to join MOVE Directorate
D.
One post, with a relatively short deadline for application ( 27 November), will offer the opportunity to
work in MOVE/D1 on coordination of all aspects of the European Sustainable Shipping Forum as well as
several policies related to improving the overall environmental impact of shipping (excluding the IMO
GHG dossier).
The other post, to be published shortly, will be focused in particular on further development of maritime
monitoring and information activities and services and the implementation of the VTMIS directive.
You will find detailed information in attachment to this email. I know that both vacancy notices are
normally passed through the Permanent Representations but since on several occasions I got questions
from many of you concerning the possibility of seconding national experts to MOVE/D, I thought it would
be a good occasion to share with you that information.
Looking forward to receiving many good applications for he above posts!
Kind regards,
Magda
