Nous saisissons cette occasion pour vous communiquer de plus amples informations
concernant la prochaine conférence du Réseau à Lemesos (Limassol).
Le programme de la conférence de Lemesos débutera vers 17h30 le jeudi 11 juin 2026 par une
visite guidée du centre historique de Lemesos et du château médiéval, suivie d’une réception et
d’un dîner de bienvenue organisés au restaurant Karatello.
La conférence aura lieu le vendredi 12 juin 2026, et notre réunion se tiendra au Mediterranean
Beach Hotel à Lemesos. La session du matin sera consacrée au thème « L’État de droit : les défis
du XXIe siècle » et sera animée par M. Donal O’Donnell, juge en chef d’Irlande et président du
Réseau. Les exposés introductifs seront présentés par M. Tatu Leppänen, président de la Cour
suprême de Finlande ; Dr Síofra O’Leary, bourse Hauser/Remarque à l’université de New York et
ancienne présidente de la Cour européenne des droits de l’homme ; M. Maciej Szpunar, premier
avocat général de la Cour de justice de l’Union européenne ; et le très honorable Richard Wagner,
P.C., juge en chef du Canada. La session de l’après-midi sera consacrée à des discussions sur le
thème « Protéger les droits des personnes dans la sphère numérique – l’impact de la législation
sur les services numériques ». Les exposés introductifs de cette session seront présentés par
Dr Danguolė Bublienė, présidente de la Cour suprême de Lituanie, qui assurera également la
modération, et par Dr Savvas S. Papasavvas, vice-président du Tribunal de l’Union européenne.
Nous saisissons également cette occasion pour vous informer que le conseil d’administration du
Réseau a examiné les statuts du Réseau et estime nécessaire de prévoir la possibilité de
suspendre un membre du Réseau, ce qui viendrait s’ajouter à la disposition de l’article 6 des
statuts qui prévoit déjà l’exclusion d’un membre à la majorité des deux tiers des membres
présents à une assemblée générale pour non-paiement de la cotisation à l’association ou pour
tout autre motif grave, après avoir entendu les explications du membre concerné. Conformément
aux statuts (art. 17), toute modification des statuts doit être décidée par l’assemblée générale.
Le conseil d’administration a donc décidé de convoquer une assemblée générale extraordinaire
du Réseau le vendredi 12 juin 2026, lors de la conférence de Lemesos, afin de discuter et de
statuer sur cette proposition de modification des statuts. Selon le programme préliminaire, une
heure sera consacrée à la prochaine assemblée générale. Les propositions de modification des
statuts vous seront envoyées dans un message séparé à l’approche de l’assemblée générale.
Dans la soirée du vendredi 12 juin, vous êtes tous cordialement invités à assister au dîner de gala
présidé par Mme Katerina Stamatiou, présidente de la Cour suprême de Chypre.
Le programme de la conférence de Limassol s’achèvera par le programme social le samedi
13 juin. Vous visiterez le site archéologique de Choirokoitia (site classé au patrimoine mondial
de l’UNESCO), le village de Lefkara et le village de Kato Drys, où vous aurez l’occasion de
participer au jeu de découverte « Dragons of the Heartland – Heartland of Legends », qui utilise
la réalité augmentée et vous emmène dans une quête légendaire inspirée des légendes et des
contes de Chypre. Le déjeuner suivra au restaurant Stou Roushia à Kato Drys.
Vous trouverez ci-joint le programme préliminaire, la note d’information pratique (NIP) et le

La présidence chypriote du Conseil de l’Union européenne pour l’année 2026 a le
plaisir de vous accueillir à Lemesos (Limassol) à l’occasion de la conférence du Réseau
des présidents des cours suprêmes de l’Union européenne, qui se tiendra du 11 au 13
juin 2026 à l’hôtel The Mediterranean Beach, 71 Amathus Avenue, 4533 Agios
Tychonas, Lemesos.
La présente note d’informations pratiques (NIP) a pour but de vous fournir toutes les

LIEU ET SITE DE LA CONFÉRENCE
Lieu
Lemesos (Limassol)
Lemesos est la ville des festivités à Chypre – un centre côtier dynamique et accueillant,
qui allie un patrimoine ancien à un mode de vie moderne et cosmopolite. Réputée
pour son esprit animé depuis l’Antiquité, Lemesos reste un haut lieu de la fête, de la
culture et de la vitalité économique.
Le caractère animé de la ville se reflète dans ses événements renommés, du carnaval
séculaire et de la fête annuelle du vin à son calendrier toujours plus riche en
manifestations culturelles internationales. Sa réputation festive remonte au mariage
médiéval de Richard Cœur de Lion et, bien avant cela, aux célébrations en l’honneur
des dieux de l’Antiquité.
Stratégiquement située entre les anciennes cités-royaumes d’Amathous et de Kourion,
Lemesos offre un riche paysage archéologique, avec des sites qui témoignent de
l’importance historique de la région. De plus, la ville contemporaine propose une
multitude de possibilités de shopping, de restauration et de divertissement le long de
son front de mer très prisé et dans son centre-ville animé.
En tant que capitale maritime de Chypre, Lemesos abrite le principal port commercial
de l’île et une marina exclusive, qui accueille aussi bien les visiteurs internationaux que
les résidents locaux. Le front de mer est un élément caractéristique de la ville, bordé
de cafés, de restaurants et de lieux culturels élégants.

Au-delà de la ville, la région de Lemesos s’étend sur des collines couvertes de vignes
et des villages de montagne, où la tradition viticole chypriote est florissante. Ces zones
rurales sont non seulement pittoresques, mais aussi riches en coutumes locales, en
artisanat et en patrimoine culinaire, offrant une expérience culturelle plus profonde.

DÉLÉGATIONS, INSCRIPTION ET ACCRÉDITATION
Composition des délégations
La délégation à la Conférence du Réseau des présidents des cours suprêmes de l’UE
sera composée d’un seul représentant.
Inscription et accréditation
Afin de garantir un accès sûr et efficace au lieu de la réunion, les membres des
délégations doivent s’inscrire et être accrédités à l’avance via la plateforme
d’accréditation en ligne dédiée de la présidence chypriote.
Pour des raisons de sécurité, l’accès au lieu de la réunion et aux autres parties officielles
du programme sera réservé exclusivement aux membres accrédités de la
délégation.
L’inscription et l’accréditation seront gérées de manière centralisée par l’officier
d’accréditation des délégations (OAD) via la plateforme d’accréditation en ligne dédiée
de la présidence chypriote. L’OAD accomplira les formalités requises au nom de tous
les membres de la délégation dans les délais fixés.

Toutes les données à caractère personnel fournies aux fins de l’accréditation seront
traitées dans le plein respect du règlement général sur la protection des données
(RGPD) de l’UE. La déclaration de confidentialité de la présidence chypriote est
accessible via la plateforme d’accréditation.
Pour toute question relative à l’inscription et à l’accréditation, n’hésitez pas à contacter
l’équipe d’accréditation (ses coordonnées figurent dans la dernière section).
Officier d’accréditation des délégations (OAD)
L’OAD désigné servira de point de contact exclusif avec la présidence chypriote pour
toutes les questions relatives à l’inscription et à l’accréditation.
Pour désigner l’OAD, veuillez indiquer son nom complet, son numéro de téléphone et
son adresse e-mail dans le formulaire d’inscription à l’événement, au plus tard le 22
avril 2026. Une fois désigné, l’OAD recevra ses identifiants de connexion ainsi que des
instructions détaillées pour l’utilisation de la plateforme d’accréditation.
La plateforme d’accréditation dédiée de la présidence chypriote sera utilisée pour gérer
toutes les informations relatives aux délégations, y compris les données personnelles,
l’accréditation, les modalités de transport ainsi que les besoins en matière
d’hébergement et de restauration.
Il incombe à l’OAD de s’assurer que tous les membres de la délégation soient dûment
inscrits et que toutes les informations requises soient transmises avec exactitude avant
le 22 mai 2026. En centralisant ce processus, la présidence chypriote vise à garantir une
coordination fluide et à faciliter la participation pleine et entière de chaque délégation
à la réunion.
Une fois l’inscription effectuée, la plateforme restera accessible jusqu’à sept jours
avant le début de l’événement, ce qui permettra aux délégations de saisir leurs
numéros de vol et les détails de leur hébergement à l’hôtel. Veuillez noter qu’une fois
la période d’inscription écoulée, seules les sections relatives aux détails des vols et à
l’hébergement à l’hôtel resteront modifiables.
Badges
La distribution des badges aux délégués accrédités aura lieu aux points d’information
de la présidence chypriote situés aux aéroports internationaux de Larnaka et de Pafos
à leur arrivée. Les délégués arrivant deux jours avant la réunion ou plus tôt sont priés
de retirer leur badge sur le lieu de la réunion.

Tous les badges sont strictement personnels et non transférables et doivent être
visibles à tout moment sur le lieu officiel, dans les moyens de transport désignés et les
zones de sécurité, ainsi que, de manière générale, tout au long du programme officiel.
La perte d’une épingle ou d’un badge doit être signalée immédiatement à l’équipe
d’accréditation via les coordonnées fournies dans la dernière section.
AGENTS DE LIAISON
Des agents de liaison (LO) seront présents aux deux points d’information de la
présidence chypriote situés aux aéroports internationaux de Larnaka et de Pafos.
SÉCURITÉ
La sécurité pendant la réunion sera assurée par la police chypriote, en étroite
coopération avec toutes les autorités nationales concernées.

TRANSPORT
Points d’entrée
Remarque : les points d’entrée légaux par voie aérienne en République de Chypre sont
les aéroports internationaux de Larnaka et de Pafos. Il n’existe aucun point d’entrée légal

dans les zones occupées de la République de Chypre, où le gouvernement de la
République de Chypre n’exerce pas de contrôle effectif en raison de l’occupation turque.
L’entrée par tout aéroport ou port situé dans les zones occupées de la République de
Chypre est illégale.

Arrivées - Départs
À leur arrivée à l’aéroport international de Larnaka, les délégués sont priés de se rendre
tout d’abord au point d’information n° 1 de la présidence chypriote, situé après le
contrôle des passeports, où ils pourront retirer leurs badges d’accréditation.
Immédiatement après le passage à la douane, les délégués se rendront au point
d’information n° 2, où ils bénéficieront d’une assistance pour leur transfert vers l’hôtel
désigné.
À l’aéroport international de Pafos, le point d’information de la présidence chypriote
sera accessible après les arrivées, juste avant le passage en douane, dans la zone des
arrivées. Les délégués pourront y retirer leurs badges d’accréditation et bénéficier
d’une assistance pour leur transfert vers l’hôtel désigné.
Un service de transport sera assuré pour les délégués accrédités entre les aéroports et
l’hôtel désigné. Les délégués souhaitant utiliser le service de transport organisé par la
présidence chypriote sont priés de l’indiquer via la plateforme d’accréditation (seule la
sélection « OUI » sera prise en compte). Les délégués doivent fournir des informations
de voyage complètes et exactes (par exemple, numéro de vol, heures d’arrivée et de
départ, et hébergement) au moins sept (7) jours avant le début de la
réunion/conférence. Toute modification soumise après cette période ne sera pas prise
en compte et les délégués devront prendre leurs propres dispositions.
Afin de faciliter une planification efficace, le transport depuis l’aéroport sera organisé
une fois que les informations de voyage requises auront été soumises via la plateforme
d’accréditation et dans les créneaux horaires désignés. Veuillez noter qu’un temps
d’attente à l’aéroport pouvant aller jusqu’à deux heures peut être nécessaire.
D’autres moyens de transport, tels que les services de taxi, les navettes et les transports
publics, sont disponibles dans l’enceinte de l’aéroport, mais ne sont pas fournis par la
présidence chypriote et doivent être organisés individuellement.
Le transport pour les petits groupes de délégués arrivant ou partant sera assuré par la
présidence chypriote.

Les délégués souhaitant se rendre directement à l’aéroport depuis le lieu de la réunion
à la fin du programme sont priés de l’indiquer via la plateforme d’accréditation.
Veuillez noter que les délégués qui n’arrivent pas à temps pour participer au
programme social au début de l’événement devront organiser eux-mêmes leur
transport s’ils souhaitent y prendre part.
Les délégués partant sur des vols commerciaux sont vivement encouragés à effectuer
leur enregistrement en ligne à l’avance.
Si les informations de voyage initiales fournies à des fins de transport venaient à
changer en raison de retards, de vols manqués ou d’autres circonstances imprévues,
les délégués pourraient être amenés à organiser eux-mêmes leur transport.
Enfin, veuillez noter que des transferts depuis et vers l’aéroport seront disponibles de
la veille de la réunion jusqu’au lendemain de celle-ci. En cas d’arrivée anticipée ou
de départ différé, les délégués devront organiser et prendre en charge eux-mêmes leur
transport.
Transport
La présidence chypriote assurera le transport des membres de la délégation officielle.
Des transferts seront organisés entre l’hôtel désigné et les lieux de réunion tout au
long du programme officiel.
Veuillez noter que les transferts officiels depuis et vers l’hôtel seront assurés
exclusivement pour l’hôtel désigné dans le cadre de la présidence chypriote. Cette
option sera proposée sur la plateforme d’accréditation au moment de l’inscription.
Le transport des délégués accrédités sera assuré par des bus entre l’hôtel désigné et
les lieux de réunion. Les délégués sont priés de se tenir prêts pour le départ aux heures
indiquées dans le programme officiel, car les bus partiront à l’heure.
Veuillez noter que le transport vers les événements ou réunions qui ne figurent pas
dans le programme officiel susmentionné ne sera pas assuré par la présidence
chypriote.

HÉBERGEMENT
La présidence chypriote a pré-réservé des chambres d’hôtel pour cette
réunion/conférence à l’hôtel The Mediterranean Beach, 71 Amathus Avenue, 4533
Agios Tychonas, Lemesos (Limassol).
Les délégués qui souhaitent profiter de ces chambres sont priés de finaliser leur
réservation via le lien ou l’adresse e-mail fournis sur la plateforme d’accréditation (la
plateforme d’accréditation ne fait pas office de plateforme de réservation et le simple
fait d’y manifester son intérêt ne sera pas considéré comme une réservation). Veuillez
noter que les délégués sont responsables de leurs propres réservations et doivent
prendre en charge les frais d’hébergement. Les chambres pré-réservées seront
attribuées selon le principe « premier arrivé, premier servi ».
Les délégués séjournant dans un autre hôtel que celui réservé à l’avance par la
présidence chypriote sont priés d’indiquer le nom de l’hôtel sur la plateforme
d’accréditation, dans la rubrique « Autre ».
DURABILITÉ
La présidence chypriote du Conseil de l’UE en 2026 est organisée conformément aux
principes du développement durable et de la transformation numérique.
Les mesures de durabilité portent sur la prévention et la gestion des déchets, des
pratiques de nettoyage respectueuses de l’environnement, l’utilisation de produits
écolabellisés, les économies d’énergie et d’eau, ainsi que des décorations à base de
plantes et de fleurs locales.
D’autres actions comprennent une restauration durable sans plastique à usage unique,
la promotion des produits locaux, le don de denrées alimentaires pour réduire le
gaspillage et la surveillance numérique de la qualité de l’environnement intérieur.
MÉDIAS
Le Bureau de presse et d’information (PIO) assurera la fonction de photographe
officiel de la présidence chypriote du Conseil de l’UE en 2026.
Un guide des médias, préparé par l’équipe de communication de la présidence
chypriote, sera mis en ligne sur le site web de la présidence chypriote.

Dear President, Dear Colleague,
We take the opportunity to share with you further details regarding the upcoming Lemesos
(Limassol) Conference of the Network.
The programme of the Lemesos Conference will start at approximately 17.30 on Thursday,
11 June 2026 with a guided tour of the Historic Centre of Lemesos and the Medieval Castle,
followed by a reception and a welcome dinner held at the Karatello restaurant.
The conference day will be Friday, 12 June 2026, and our meeting will take place at the
Mediterranean Beach Hotel in Lemesos. The morning session of the Conference will focus on the
“Rule of Law: Challenges in the 21st Century” and will be moderated by Mr Donal O’Donnell, Chief
Justice of Ireland and President of the Network. The introductory presentations will be delivered
by Dr Tatu Leppänen, President of the Supreme Court of Finland; Dr Síofra O’Leary,
Hauser/Remarque Fellow at the NYU and Former President of the European Court of Human
Rights; Mr Maciej Szpunar, First Advocate General of the Court of Justice of the European Union
and The Right Honourable Richard Wagner, P.C., Chief Justice of Canada. The afternoon session
will be devoted to discussions on “Protecting individuals’ rights in the digital sphere – the impact
of the Digital Services Act”. Introductory presentations of this session will be delivered by
Dr Danguolė Bublienė, President of the Supreme Court of Lithuania who will also serve as the
moderator and Dr Savvas S. Papasavvas, Vice-President of the General Court of the European
Union.
We also take this opportunity to inform you that the Board of the Network has reviewed the
Articles of Association of the Network and considers it necessary to provide for the possibility of
suspension of a member of the Network, which would be additional to the provision in Article 6
of the Articles which already provides for the exclusion of a member by a two-thirds majority of
those Members present at a General Assembly for non-payment of the subscription to the
Association or other serious motive after having heard the explanations of the Member
concerned. According to the Articles of Association (Art.17) amendments to the Articles must be
decided by the General Assembly. The Board has therefore agreed to convene an extraordinary
General Assembly of the Network on Friday, 12 June 2026 at the Lemesos Conference to discuss
and decide on the proposal to amend the Articles of Association. According to the preliminary
programme one hour will be dedicated for the upcoming General Assembly. Proposed
amendments to the Articles of Association will be sent to you in a separate message closer to the
General Assembly.
In the evening of Friday, 12 June you are all kindly invited to attend the gala dinner hosted by
Ms Katerina Stamatiou, President of the Supreme Court of Cyprus.
The programme of the Lemesos Conference will conclude with a social programme on Saturday,
13 June. You will visit the Archaeological Site of Choirokoitia (UNESCO World Heritage site), the
Lefkara village and the Kato Drys village where you will have the opportunity to participate in the
discovery game “Dragons of the Heartland – Heartland of Legends” that uses augmented reality
and takes you on a legendary quest inspired by the legends and tales of Cyprus. Lunch will follow
at Stou Roushia restaurant in Kato Drys.
Enclosed you will find the preliminary programme, the practical information notice (PIN) and the
registration form for the Lemesos Conference.
Please kindly refer to the PIN for further information on the accommodation reservations at the
Mediterranean Beach Hotel and the general organisation of the event.

The Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2026 has the pleasure of

from 11 to 13 June 2026 at The Mediterranean Beach Hotel, 71 Amathus Avenue, 4533

This Practical Information Note (PIN) is intended to provide all necessary logistical and
programme-related information to facilitate the preparation of your visit.
Please note that the information contained herein may be subject to change. The
Cyprus Presidency will share any updated information related to the meeting through

DELEGATIONS, REGISTRATION AND ACCREDITATION
Delegation format
The delegation format for the Conference of the Network of the Presidents of the
Supreme Judicial Courts of the EU will be one-head delegation.
Registration & Accreditation
To ensure secure and efficient access to the meeting venue, delegation members must
be registered and accredited in advance through the Cyprus Presidency’s dedicated
online Accreditation Platform.
For security reasons, access to the venue and other official parts of the programme will
be granted exclusively to accredited members of the delegation.
Registration and accreditation will be managed centrally by the designated Delegation
Accreditation Officer (DAO) through the Cyprus Presidency’s dedicated online
Accreditation Platform. The DAO will complete the required procedures on behalf of
all delegation members within the established deadlines.
All personal data provided for accreditation will be processed in full compliance with
the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The Cyprus Presidency’s personal
data privacy notice can be accessed through the Accreditation Platform.

For any questions related to registration and accreditation, please do not hesitate to
contact the Accreditation Team (contact details are provided in the last section).
Delegation Accreditation Officer (DAO)
The designated DAO will serve as the exclusive point of contact with the Cyprus
Presidency on all matters regarding registration and accreditation.
To appoint the DAO, please submit their full name, telephone number and email
address to the event Registration Form no later than 22 April 2026. Once appointed,
the DAO will receive login credentials and detailed guidance for using the
Accreditation Platform.
The Cyprus Presidency’s dedicated Accreditation Platform will be used to manage all
relevant delegation information, including personal details, accreditation,
transportation arrangements as well as accommodation and dietary requirements.
It is the DAO’s responsibility to ensure that all members of the delegation are duly
registered and that all required information is submitted accurately by 22 May 2026.
By centralising this process, the Cyprus Presidency aims to guarantee smooth
coordination and to facilitate the full and secure participation of each delegation in the
meeting.
Following registration, the platform will remain accessible until seven days prior to the
commencement of the event, allowing delegations to enter their flight numbers and
hotel accommodation details. Please note that once the registration period has
elapsed, only the sections pertaining to flight details and hotel accommodation will
remain available for editing.
Badges
The distribution of badges for the accredited delegates will take place at the Cyprus
Presidency’s Information Points at Larnaka and Pafos International Airports upon
arrival. Delegates arriving two days before the meeting or earlier are requested to
collect their badge at the meeting venue.
All badges are strictly personal and non-transferable and must be visible at all times
within the official venue, designated means of transport and security areas and,
generally, throughout all parts of the official programme.
Lost pins or badges should be reported immediately to the Accreditation Team via the
contact details provided in the last section.

Liaison Officers (LO) will be present at the two Cyprus Presidency’s Information Points
at Larnaka and Pafos International Airports.
SECURITY
Security during the meeting will be ensured by the Cyprus Police, in close cooperation
with all relevant national authorities.

TRANSPORT
Points of entry
Note: The legal points of entry by air into the Republic of Cyprus are the International
Airports of Larnaka and Pafos. There are no legal points of entry in the occupied areas
of the Republic of Cyprus, where the Government of the Republic of Cyprus does not
exercise effective control due to the Turkish occupation. Entering through any airport or
port in the occupied areas of the Republic of Cyprus is illegal.

Arrivals - Departures
Upon arrival at Larnaka International Airport, delegates should first proceed to the
Cyprus Presidency Information Point 1 located after passport control, where
accreditation badges will be available for collection. Immediately after customs
clearance, delegates will reach the Information Point 2, where they will
receive assistance with their transfer to the designated hotel.
At Pafos International Airport, the Cyprus Presidency Information Point will be
available after arrivals, just before customs clearance in the arrivals area. Delegates can
collect both their accreditation badges and receive assistance regarding transfers
to the designated hotel.
Transportation for accredited delegates will be provided between airports and the
designated hotel. Delegates wishing to make use of the transportation arranged by the
Cyprus Presidency are requested to indicate this through the Accreditation Platform
(only a YES selection will be taken into account). Delegates must provide complete
and accurate travel details (e.g. flight number, arrival and departure times, and
accommodation) at least seven (7) days prior to the start of the meeting/conference.
Any modifications submitted after this period will not be taken into account and
delegates will have to make their own arrangements.
To facilitate efficient planning, airport transportation will be arranged once the
required travel details are submitted through the Accreditation Platform and within the
designated timeslots. Please note that a waiting time at the airport of up to two hours
may be required.
Alternative means of transportation, such as taxi services, shuttle services and public
transportation, are available at the airport premises, but not provided by the Cyprus
Presidency, and must be arranged individually.
Transportation for small numbers of delegates arriving or departing will be provided
by the Cyprus Presidency.
Delegates wishing to proceed directly to the airport from the meeting venue at the
end of the programme are requested to indicate this via the Accreditation Platform.
Kindly be advised that any delegates who do not arrive in time to join
the social programme at the beginning of the event will be responsible
for making their own transportation arrangements in case they wish to join the
social programme.
Delegates departing on commercial flights are strongly encouraged to make use of
online check-in in advance.

Should the original travel details provided for transportation purposes change due to
delays, missed flights or other unforeseen
circumstances, delegates may be required to make their own transportation
arrangements.
Lastly, please note that transfers to and from the airport will be available from the day
before the meeting until the day after the meeting. In the event of an earlier arrival
or a later departure, delegates will be required to make and cover their own
transportation arrangements.
Transportation
The Cyprus Presidency will provide transportation for members of the official
delegation. Transfers will operate between the designated hotel and venues
throughout the official programme.

Transportation for accredited delegates will be arranged by buses between the
designated hotel and the venues. Delegates are kindly requested to be ready for
departure at the transfer times indicated in the official programme, as buses
will depart punctually.
Please note that transportation to events or meetings which are not
included in the aforementioned official programme, will not be provided by
the Cyprus Presidency.
ACCOMMODATION
The Cyprus Presidency has pre-booked hotel rooms for this meeting/conference at The
Mediterranean Beach Hotel, 71 Amathus Avenue, 4533 Agios Tychonas, Lemesos
(Limassol).
Delegates who intend to make use of the pre-booked rooms are requested to
complete the booking process via the link or the contact email provided on the
Accreditation Platform (the Accreditation Platform itself does not function as a booking
platform and indicating interest only there will not be considered a reservation).

Please note that delegates are responsible for making their own reservations and for
covering accommodation costs. Pre-booked rooms will be allocated on a first-come,
first-served basis.
Delegates staying at another hotel, other than the one pre-booked by the Cyprus

SUSTAINABILITY
The Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the EU 2026 is organised in line with the
principles of sustainable development and digital transformation.
Sustainability measures cover waste prevention and management, environmentally
responsible cleaning practices, the use of eco-labelled products, energy and
water saving and decoration based on native plants and flowers.
Further actions include sustainable catering with no single-use plastics, promotion of
local products, food donation to reduce waste and digital monitoring of indoor
environmental quality.
MEDIA
The Press and Information Office (PIO) will serve as the Host Photographer of the
Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the EU 2026.
A Media Guide, prepared by the Communication Team of the Cyprus Presidency, will
be uploaded to the Cyprus Presidency’s website.

The designated DAO will serve as the exclusive point of contact with the Supreme Court of Cyprus and Cyprus
Presidency on all matters regarding registration and accreditation.
To appoint the DAO, you need to submit their full name, telephone number, function and email address. Once
appointed, the DAO will receive login credentials and detailed guidance for using the Accreditation Platform.
The Cyprus Presidency’s dedicated Accreditation Platform will be used to manage all relevant delegation information,
including personal details, accreditation and transport arrangements as well as accommodation and dietary
requirements.
It is the DAO’s responsibility to ensure that all members of the delegation are duly registered and that all required
information is submitted accurately. By centralising this process, the Supreme Court of Cyprus and Cyprus Presidency
aims to guarantee smooth coordination and to facilitate the full and secure participation of each delegation in the
meeting.
