Subject: Coordination of the KAZSAT-BSS-30-86.5E (86.5E) satellite network with the
terrestrial services of the Republic of Estonia in the band of 11.7-12.5 GHz

The Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, having reviewed the special
section in IFIC 2842 (ref. 1) concerning the coordination of the KAZSAT-BSS-30-86.5E
(86.5E) sa network, withes to inform of the following,
In a cjcordance with the special section, the Bureau identified that the KAZSAT-
BSS-30-86 5E (86.5E) satellite network might potentially cause unacceptable interference
towards the terrestrial services of the Republic of Estonia in the frequency band of 11.7-
12.5 GHz fberefore, the coordination is requested under No. 4.1.Id of Appendix 30 of the
Radio Regill ations.
In re view of the above, this Administration kindly proposes to consider the
coordinatio of the KAZSAT-BSS-30-86.5E (86.5E) satellite network as completed with
the terrestri al services of the Republic of Estonia in the frequency band of 11.7-12.5 GHz
in accordaqc e with to the requirement, established in No. 4 of Annex 1 of Appendix 30 of
the Radio Regulations. The power flux-density, generated by the emission of the satellite
network о the Republic of Kazakhstan at any point on the territory of the Republic of
Estonia, shal not exceed the following values:
-148 dB(W /(M .4 kHz))
-148+0.5(0-5) dB(W/(M2.4 kHz))
-138 dB(W /( m 2.4 kHz))
where 0 - 1le angle of arrival.
We kindly request you to inform us about your decision on coordination of the
KAZSAT-HSS-30-86.5E (86.5E) satellite network with the terrestrial services of the
Republic of Estonia.
We hope for constructive cooperation between the Administrations of the Republic
of Estonia and the Republic of Kazakhstan.
