Carrasco Hellwig by Chile for Secretary-General and Director of the IHO. B. General Regulations of the IHO, Article 21 Dear Hydrographer, 1. Reference A informed the IHO Member States that Chile had nominated Rear Admiral Patricio J. CARRASCO Hellwig to stand for election at the 1st Session of the IHO Assembly for the post of Secretary- General and for a post of Director of the IHO. 2. The IHO Secretariat has received notification from Chile that the nomination of Rear Admiral Patricio J. CARRASCO Hellwig has been withdrawn. Accordingly, Reference A is cancelled. 3. The revised version of the List of candidates for Secretary-General and Directors of the IHO (document A.1/E/01/Rev.2) reflecting the withdrawal of the nomination of Chile has been posted on the IHO Website (see: www.iho.int > Home > IHO Assembly > Assembly Circular Letters and Documents). 4. As required by Reference B, the Secretary-General will collate all the nominations received by 14 April 2017 and present a consolidated list as part of the documentation for the consideration of the Assembly.
