Teema: BREKO Delegation trip to Estland - Digital Infrastructure & E-Governance
Manused: image001.png
Dear Madam, dear Sir,
Our German Broadband Association is organizing a delegation trip with around 30 participants from
Germany to Estland from 5-7 September 2019. Participants from our side are representatives of our
member organizations, network providers and operators.
We would like to find out whether it would be possible to arrange for a meeting with your Head of
Telecommunications, Mr. Margus Krupp and/or your Head of Electronic Communications and Media
Services Department, Mr. Oliver Gailan to explain and discuss the Estonian approach on fibre
infrastructure. We would like to learn from your experience.
Would there be the possibility to arrange for a meeting during this time, preferably on Thursday 5th
September around 10:30 am, if availabilities allow?
We look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards,
Katrin Heeren

BREKO represents the majority of all alternative fixed line broadband network operators in Germany. Our more than
300 members, including about 180 city and regional carriers as well as municipal utilities, provide urban as well as
rural areas, the so-called "white spots", with high-performance fibre access. To this end, they invest more than EUR
1.5 billion every year. BREKO companies thus make a major contribution to the comprehensive fibre deployment in
Germany as well as to the achievement of the German Federal Government’s broadband targets.
