The Ministry of Social Affairs of Estonia is delighted to extend an invitation to the following
distinguished individuals:
Dr. Maksym Chubak, Chief Specialist of the Innovation Unit of the Department of
Medical Care and Innovation of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, a member of the
Operational Headquarters of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine to coordinate activities in
the area of blood and blood components donation, functioning of the blood system under
martial law.
Dr. Dmytro Koval, Director General of the SSI "Ukrainian Transplant Coordination
Center," Deputy Head of the Operational Headquarters of the Ministry of Health of
Ukraine to coordinate activities in the area of blood and blood components donation,
functioning of the blood system under martial law.
Dr. Oleksandr Serhiienko, Deputy Director General of the SSI "Ukrainian Transplant
Coordination Center," Head of the Operational Headquarters of the Ministry of Health of
Ukraine to coordinate activities in the area of blood and blood components donation,
functioning of the blood system under martial law.
This invitation is for a two-day, in-person meeting scheduled to take place in Tallinn, Estonia,
during February or March 2024. The primary objective of the meeting is the exchange of
experience in organizing the blood system and ensuring the continuous supply of blood and
blood components under martial law and responding to military threats. Exact dates for the
meeting are pending confirmation with the mentioned attendees.
We are pleased to confirm that the Estonian Health Board will cover accommodation and
food expenses during the meeting.
