Saatja: CC Moldova <[email protected]> Saaja: [email protected] Teema: New composition and President of the Constitutional Court of Moldova Dear all, As of 16 August 2019, the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Moldova has a new composition, with the following members: Mr Eduard Ababei, Mr Serghei Țurcan, Mrs Liuba Şova, Mr Nicolae Roşca, Mrs Domnica Manole and Mr Vladimir Ţurcan. And today, 19 August 2019, the judges of the Court have elected Mr Vladimir ŢURCAN as President of the Court. Under the Law no. 317 of 13.12.1994, the President of the Court is being elected by secret vote, for a three-years term, by a majority vote of the judges. And in case of his absence, Mrs Liuba Şova will exercise President’s duties.
