Reference A invited Member States to comment on the proposed dates for the first meeting of the IHO Council (C-1). 2. The Secretariat thanks the 11 Member States that responded and supported the proposed dates: Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, India, Mexico, Nigeria, Peru, Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom and Uruguay. No objections have been received. 3. The Secretariat therefore confirms that the first IHO Council meeting will take place at the IHO Secretariat in Monaco, from Tuesday 17 to Thursday 19 October 2017. 4. In accordance with Rule 3 of Reference B, the Secretary-General will convene the Council at least four months prior to this date and submit the provisional agenda.
