Every year, ACA-Europe organises such an exchange, allowing magistrates of the supreme administrative jurisdictions to benefit from the experience of other magistrates in the implementation of EU law and thus reinforcing mutual trust. lt goes without saying that this activity represents both an important and a substantial part of our programme . For 2O!9, a total budget of 59.490 EUR, of which 20% (11.898 EUR) is from own resources. For 2019 ACA-Europe will set up an exchange programme for 18 magistrates. These exchanges take the form of working visits, each lasting 12 days. You will find attached a list of hosts Courts for 2019 and the number of places offered. 2. Could you please let me know by March 15st 2019 at the latest if one or more judge(s) of your Court would like(s) to take part in this program? Each application is made using the registration form and "europass" curriculum vitae you will find in attachment. These documents have to be sent to Project Manager Ms. Katty Lauvau (+32 2 294 g3:.2l (email: kattv.lauvau(oaca-europe.eu). I would like to point out that an application will only be considered upon presentation by the President or his representative of each Member Jurisdiction. Verygood knowledge of the working language of the Court where the judge would like to make his/her visit is an indispensable condition. However, severalcourts have offered to receive judges in a language other than their national language, so a very good knowledge of this other language is also required. The General Secretariat insists that gender equality is at all times a key factor for the members when selecting/proposing ca ndidates fo r ACA (re lated) activities. 3. J'attire votre attention sur la circonstance selon laquelle une candidature ne sera prise en consid6ration que sur pr6sentation du Pr6sident ou du repr6sentant de chaque juridiction membre. En outre, je me permets d'insister sur le fait qu'une trõs bonne connaissance de la langue de la juridiction oü le magistrat souhaite effectuer sa visite est une condition indispensable pour l'6change. Plusieurs juridictions ont propose d'accueillir des magistrats dans une autre langue que leur langue nationale, une trÖs bonne connaissance de cette autre langue est donc 6ga|ement exig6e. Le Secr6tariat gdn6ral insiste sur le fait que l'6galit6 entre des genres sera un 6l6ment important dans le processus de s6lection des candidats pour les activit6s (connexes) de I'ACA. 3.
