I have the honour to inform you that the World Health Organization Regional Office for Europe together with
the support of USAID and in cooperation with the Global Fund and the Stop TB Partnership are organizing a
workshop on Tuberculosis (TB) prevention and systematic screening to accelerate the joint efforts towards
ending tuberculosis in the WHO European Region by 2030. The workshop follows up on WHO and partners’
commitment to support countries in the implementation of the TB Action Plan for the WHO European Region
2023–2030. 1 The event will take place in Istanbul, Türkiye on 30 October–1 November 2023. 2
The objectives of the workshop are:

I have pleasure of inviting you to nominate two national experts from the national TB programme and primary
