Dear Honourable Chief Justice,
We would like to reach out to you regarding the next High-Level Meeting of the Global Judicial Integrity Network that will take place on 18 -20 November 2019 in Doha, Qatar. For the ease of reference, please find enclosed an invitation package to the event from the Chief Justice of Qatar as the host that has been disseminated in July to all judiciaries through UNODC as the secretariat of the Network and the Permanent Missions in Vienna.
Although the official deadline for nominations has passed, we are still accepting nominations. In this regard, we would like to inquire about your participation (or nomination of a delegation) for the meeting.
The purpose of the meeting is to take stock of the achievements of the Network since its launch last year and identify priorities for the Network’s work beyond 2019. The event will provide an opportunity for high-level participants to network, discuss pertinent issues and propose ways forward.
Given the importance of the meeting and your country’s involvement and interest in the activities of the Global Judicial Integrity Network, we would like to encourage you to participate and it would be a great pleasure to benefit from your experiences at the event. As you will see in the attached information note, the State of Qatar is in a position to fund your participation.

As a follow-up to the launch event of the Global Judicial Integrity Network<https://www.unodc.org/ji/en/restricted/network-launch.html>, we would like to invite you to save the date for the “High-Level Meeting of the Global Judicial Integrity Network: Past, Present, Future”, which will be held in Doha, Qatar, on 18 and 19 November 2019.
Registration details for the event, as well as further information, will follow as the date approaches.
The purpose of the High-Level Meeting of the Global Judicial Integrity Network is to explore the efforts made by judiciaries with a view to strengthening judicial integrity in line with article 11 of the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC). As such, the meeting aims to identify good practices and challenges in judicial integrity and discuss the work conducted on the priorities areas of the Global Judicial Integrity Network<https://www.unodc.org/documents/ji/declaration/declaration_english.pdf> for 2018-2019.

Suite à l’événement de lancement du Réseau mondial pour l'intégrité judiciaire<https://www.unodc.org/ji/en/restricted/network-launch.html>, nous vous invitons à réserver les dates des 18 et 19 novembre 2019 pour « la réunion de haut niveau du Réseau mondial pour l'intégrité judiciaire : passé, présent et futur », à Doha, Qatar.
