I am writing you concerning the upcoming competition law seminar for European judges, organised by the Hungarian Competition Authority (GVH) through the OECD-GVH Regional Centre for Competition in Budapest (RCC). The topic of the advanced level event will be ’National Judges and Antitrust Challenges in the Digital Age’.
The seminar will be held in Budapest, Hungary between 16-17 November 2018 and will be co-financed by the European Union.
The 2-day seminar will provide the participants with specific knowledge and practice related to issues arising due to new technologies’ impact in the field of competition law. Focus will be on the main questions that are currently the focus of antitrust enforcers and recent courts’ decisions.
Participation will be completely free of charge. The costs will be covered by EU and GVH funds. Please consult the attached seminar announcement for more information.
The registration deadline is 04 October 2018.
As the national judicial training centres of Croatia, Estonia, Lithuania, Romania, Bulgaria and Slovenia actively participate in the selection of participants, please contact your national training centre for more information if you would like to register from any of these countries.
