Dear colleagues,
1. As this NB is completely new in the RCD sector, it is important to stress again the importance of participation in coordination activities of RSG group of notified bodies (www.rsg.be) , in order to understand the rationale of the common positions & approaches adopted by the RSG group. It is necessary to provide a responsible contact person which will be listed in the NBs contact list placed on www.rsg.be. The Group is now asking all sectorial NBs to provide such contact person.
2. Second, this body declares to carry out post construction assessment according to Annex V of the RCD 2013/53/EU. Therefore, we'd like to draw your attention to the obligation to register the "post construction assessment identification code" in notified bodies' register, as referred to in Article 8.2 of the Commission's Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/1. The easiest way is to notify this PCA identification code to the Commission services (can be done to functional mailbox

3. Furthermore, the notification of a Body is submitted by "Estonian Technical Regulatory Authority". But the Accreditation Certificate is issued by "Latvian National Accreditation Bureau". Who is the responsible notifying authority? The first or the second one? It is important to know which authority to address if there would be a problem with the notified body.
