The Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO) presents his compliments
to Member States and regional economic integration organizations and has the honour to refer to
resolution WHA78.1 (2025), which established the open-ended Intergovernmental Working
Group (IGWG) on the WHO Pandemic Agreement.
Member States are informed that the seventh meeting of the IGWG will be held at WHO
headquarters, Geneva, from 6 to 17 July 2026 in a hybrid format. The seventh meeting will open
at 09:00 (CEST) on Monday, 6 July 2026.
Meeting registration and access
Renewed CVENT registration will not be required for delegates who participated in
IGWG6 and possess a valid UN badge.
Member States who did not register for the sixth meeting and/or do not have a valid UN badge
should register from 8 to 26 June 2026 at the following link: https://events.who.int/IGWG7.
In view of limited capacity, the link will be deactivated at the close of the deadline
with no further opportunity to register. During registration in CVENT, delegations are
required to upload a credential, detailing the delegate(s) in the following format: email
address, Country, name (first name and surname of the delegate).
A personalized link to access the virtual platform will be sent by Friday 3 July 2026 to
delegates who registered for the seventh meeting as well as the sixth meeting.
Two persons per delegation are invited to be physically present in the meeting room at WHO
headquarters, with other members of the delegation participating through the virtual platform.

In accordance with resolution WHA49.9 (1996), and to support the aim of achievement of
SDG 5 (Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls), the Director-General
invites Member States to consider that gender balance be applied to their delegations.
